Here at Ada Fintech, our aim is to make life easier for our users. It’s important to us that we keep you up to date on our roadmap, and what enhancements you will be seeing on platform.

This month we’ve focused the update on an important key enhancement that we hope will improve the searchability of Ada and help users locate the content they need more efficiently.

Enhancements

Content Search

Having seen a huge increase in the number of reviews and notes captured directly in Ada, we’ve been looking for new ways to refine the search functionality in order to improve efficiency and help users become much more productive.

We knew we needed to improve the content search to help users locate the information they need to access by including a wider range of content and delivering more focused results whilst still ensuring that Ada remains responsive and easy to use. Ultimately, the more straightforward it is for users to navigate Ada and surface relevant content, the more likely it is that they will use it and enjoy the experience.

With this release, we’ve improved our existing search by extending the content that is included and returned making it easier to search the wider system for keywords or phrases. We’ve summarised these updates into three key areas below:

  • Search reviews: reviews are a structured note, stored in the system, against a fund or manager etc. We have extended the content search to include this content as a new type. This means you can search all reviews in the system for a particular keyword or phrase and it will be returned in the results amongst the files and notes.
  • Filter content: within the existent content search functionality we have a list of file type filters. We have added ‘Reviews’ to the list so that you can narrow your search results and find the content you desire in real-time – this is particularly helpful if you know that you are looking for a previous review but aren’t sure exactly where to locate it in the system.
  • Search within notes: notes contain more than just text; there are tables and images, to name a few. This functionality now returns all note types in the results provided they match the relevant search term in the text.

A better content search experience is right at your fingertips. Start exploring and empower your research today!
